The All-Clear

Monitoring appointment went smoothly yesterday. Lots of antral follies on my likes-to-hide left ovary, and less on the right. There already seemed to be a lead follie on the right, so it will likely get sacrificed to the grows-too-big gods.

I thought the EPP was supposed to stop a lead follie from developing, but I guess my right ovary did not get that memo. I mean, she's only try to do her predestined job, she doesn't know I'm about to whack her with stims. Poor girl.

Just did my first menop.ur shot, its like riding a bike, these shots. Right back on the wagon for me.

  1. Yay for the all-clear. Bummer about right ovary's enthusiasm, but it sounds like you have plenty to choose from, so all will be well. So glad you're starting!

  3. Woop! fab news that your uterus is cyst free and that those ovaries are raring to go already.
You know you're a seasoned IVFer when you can inject yourself whilst watching TV (or reading a book!) and think nothing of it. With my first IVF I had to lock myself in my bedroom by myself and really concentrate on each jab, now I feel like I could do it with my eyes closed. Whatever needles, you don't scare me!
Good luck with the stims, hope you get some nice juicy eggies in there.

  5. Things are already moving right along! Sorry about the lead follicle, but it doesn't sound like it will be a problem. Good luck!

  7. Have they added Ganirelix to your protocol? Just wondering because that is supposed to slow the growth to a more even level. Yay for starting your stims! Can't wait to hear about the next monitoring appointment!

  8. Fantastic news!

Hopefully that maverick follie won't be an issue. Crossing everything that the rest of your cycle progresses well!
