Yet another AF watch

I guess this is the first AF Watch 2010, so that makes it new, right?

Right? Yeah, maybe not so much. I hate waiting for that damn woman.

So allegedly, I'm supposed to get my visitor today. I don't feel at all like she is coming. I usually spot a few days ahead of time, and no spotting yet. I feel totally normal, well as normal as I get on 2 Estr.ace pills a day. Will taking Estr.ace delay things??

This could seriously mess up my whole calendar, the monitoring appointment I'm supposed to go to locally on Saturday, my travel plans. Argh.

So I ask you, Internetz: Anyone been on this estrogen priming protocol, and got AF on time, late, at all? I would love to hear any or all experiences.

UPDATED to add: Hey, wait a minute! It is only CD 26 for me. What are they thinking that I'll get AF today? Yeah, I did have a positive OPK on CD12, but still. That means ovulation on CD13-14. I'm a 28-29 day kind of girl. Sigh, did the nurse mess this up?

  1. Unfortunately, I don't know about the EPP. However, I know that NoodleGirl does and I'm sure she'll chime in here. I will send you some "come on AF" vibes, though. I hope she shows up soon so your plans don't get too messed up. She always has a way of doing that, doesn't she? Come on, show up for Pie!

  2. Ugh, the waiting, the scheduling... maddening.
I have a mystical, completely unfounded belief in ginger to bring it on, and find myself making ginger tea when I want to get my cycle moving. I have no evidence it works, but at least I feel like I am doing something.

  3. well you already know that I know nothing about EEP since I was picking your brains about it earlier. Wish I could help. All I can say is that when I was on extra estrogen pills for my last IVF (during the 2ww) I didnt get my period until 5 days after stopping taking it. It could have been any of the other meds I was on that was halting her arrival though, but its the first time ever that I havent bled before blood test day and I assumed it was because of the 3 x daily estrogen pills I was on. ??? Probably that just makes you more confused, wish I could help more!!

  4. I think the nurses did mess up, as they obviously counted fourteen days from your surge, rather than actual ovulation. Yikes. I hate the waiting and the scheduling. I also hate how much you have to double check everything fancy clinic does...they're good, but they're busy, it's a simple fact. I hope she shows up soon and your calendar is only off by a day or so!
