The trip to Arizona was lovely. We had great weather, and the scenery is just so pretty out there. We did a hike in Sedona to an "energy vortex". While I'm not sure exactly if this really does anything, as Mr. P says, it can't hurt. The hike was very picturesque, and we hung out for awhile enjoying the view. Good for the soul, at the least.
But the best news is that I'm also back - back on estrogen! Woot! What a difference a patch makes! Seriously, by the end of the first day on just one patch, I did not have any more hot flashes, I felt more "normal" and that night I slept great. Estrogen, I love you and missed you terribly.
So the FET prep is in full swing. I go in tomorrow for my e2 check, to make sure my body is absorbing the estrogen patches. But I can tell you already, I am sure it is absorbing at least some, because the days of hot flashes are behind me. I have not had a single one since starting the patches. So I know something's going on. And not to be all TMI, but my lady bits are a lot more...um...moist...than they've been in several months. So something's clearly going on down there.
I'm feeling good! Thank you estrogen!

ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I love Sedona - such a great place for body + mind! Glad you had a nice trip and glad you are feeling the good effects of the estrogen.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, glad you had a great trip! Oh I remember how much I loved Estrogen after being suppressed, it's amazing how much better you feel after 1 patch. I can't imagine how much better you must feel after 3 months of Lupron! Wow, first e2 check tomorrow, wahoo! Come on >50!!! Enjoy the moist lady bits, haha!
