Today is my 100th post.
While it is not what I would have chosen to write about, I have really enjoyed my 10-ish months of blogging about IF. The community I've found, the support from you lovely ladies (and my token man reader!) has been so great.
A year ago today I was waiting to get my beta back from my first IVF. After 12 months of trying on our own, after 4 failed IUIs, I was certain IVF would work. It had to. Needless to say, we got the BFN on April 3, 2009. I was devastated. I spun into a very bad place, while moving immediately into IVF #2. Not a good combination. After the BFN from IVF #2, I knew I needed a break. I knew I needed to change things. I knew I needed a place to get all of these thoughts out of my head.
And so this blog was born.
Now I'm moving forward to a new milestone, my first FET. It has been a long road to get here, and I'm so glad many of you have come along with me on this journey. It means more to me than I can adequately express.
Thank you.

I am so hoping this FET is it for you, you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteHappy 100th post! Congrats. The time seems to just fly by sometimes doesn't it? And I like your 57% stat, too! I'm glad that I found your blog and I hope to be able to read a great BFP post soon. I'm so hoping that this FET is your ticket off the IF Island.
ReplyDeleteHappy 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your upcoming FET - I have high hopes that this is it for you with all of the genetic testing coming back with good results!
Thank you for your support on my blog, too.
I seriously continue to be in awe of the community and support I have found here. And I love hearing that other people have experienced the same.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 100th post, even though you're not celebrating with other milestones to boot. You will someday.
Hugs.
Happy 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteIn life you sometime find really good friends in really funny places, even shitty places like IVFland. A famous token man once said "The best flowers often grow out of the biggest pile of cow turd" (or something like that). Happy 100th post, just think by 200 you will be in a very different place for you (maybe a 2nd token guy has bloogged... come on men - arise). Thank you for all your support as well and I just really really REALLY hope you are close to a positive end of this sillyness.
ReplyDeleteYou've most definitely come a long way! What a difference a year makes, eh? =)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you to be reunited with your frosties!
Congrats on your 100th post. You should be very proud of what you've accomplished on your blog, both for yourself and your readers. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
ReplyDeleteI've been following you since January, which means I've actually missed 2/3 of your great blog. Now I'm inspired to go back and read more about the past year -- perhaps a good thing to to during my post-FET bed rest. It's weird that our timelines seem to mirror each other so closely. I didn't realilze that. Happy 100!
ReplyDeleteHappy 100. Your blog is one of the first I read and I really appreciate your support on my blog. So excited for your FET coming up!
